I shall be back again this Dec for a go at the 50 mile. Anyone who completed any distance that day in the monsoon conditions was awesome. Sorry about the humorless me at the start. I still have that competitive spirit and was probably focused at the start. Do enjoy a good time after the event. Did a 7 mile easy run the next day in a wildlife refuge and enjoyed seeing the gators and many species of birds. Enjoy all your runs, remember the only bad run is the one you don't do. I'm looking forward to the marathon in January and I'm already lowering my expectations... even though I have no idea what the weather will bring to the fine City of Mobile! Merry Christmas! By the way, I'm pretty sure the other anonymous just called you AND Kathy a bass something?

JeremyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7510999517431855102.post-21130156475503890842009-12-18T11:12:19.606-05:002009-12-18T11:12:19.606-05:00Anonymous,

I wanted to quit so bad at the very beginning but I kept on moving one foot in front of the other. I'd like try the 50 miler next year but I realize I'm going to have to put in my training hours if I want to make it before 10 hours.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
